As part of the West Herts clinical supervision offer, all Band 6 and Band 5 colleagues are invited to attend group supervision sessions. The sessions will last for an hour and include up to ten colleagues from across the Trust. You are invited to attend four sessions over the rest of the year. This is a Session One group – please select one date to attend in May or June. Dates for Sessions Two to Four will follow. When registered, you will be sent a diary invite with MS Teams link for the session.
Group supervision provides the opportunity to access peer support and sessions are facilitated by a Supervisor to assure the group learns together. The role of the Supervisor is to support the group and make sure all members are included in the discussion. Through working in groups, we bring together diverse peers or people from within the same organisation to work through issues, share ideas and challenge perceptions in a trusting, supportive environment. This activity supports practice in many ways such as problem solving, communicating effectively, giving and receiving feedback etc.
